From 1999-2002, Tropical Mega Battle was the pinnacle of Pokémon-
Worlds before Worlds even existed.

It was an all-expenses paid trip to Hawaii, complete with card secrets and hundred thousand dollar results. This video compiles interviews, found footage, and archival documents to shed new light on the original Pokémon party.

During TMB, attendees were given Pokémon “VS” decks. This was the only time these cards were printed in English, or any language besides Japanese. Those cards can be found in high resolution, for the first time ever, below.
